Rock and Roll McDonald’s
Some people think that the random crazy people you encounter on public transit are a problem. These people never understood the grandeur of the late Wesley Willis. Luckily, I occasionally get to experience Wesley Lite, a worker at the McDonald’s on 59 and Washington in West Chicago who rides the train back towards the city.
This would largely be awesome, but unlike Wesley, she sings random phrases of recent hip-hop hits, the kind of song you’d hear on Kiss FM. Happily, she doesn’t randomly head-butt you. Overall, I consider this a fair trade for me but a loss for culture.
