Yesterday I got an email from the Obama campaign seeking donations. By itself this is hardly noteworthy as I’m getting an email from them asking for money at least once a week. The hook this time was a free t-shirt if you donate at least $30. Since I had yet to get my t-shirt from the last time they ran a promotion like this, during their drive to get one million different contributors to the campaign, I was was a little bit skeptical about the promise.
Today, I got the t-shirt.
Today, the Obama campaign got thirty more of my dollars. In case any of you’d like a t-shirt and would like to give money to Obama’s campaign, here’s a link. Just note that you have to donate before midnight on April 30.
And yes, I realize that I probably shouldn’t wait to give money just so that I can get a tangible result. I’m a jackass that way.
