Be more constructive with your feedback

There’s lots of lightning tonight, up above the clouds and smog, constant distractions for the eyes, like celestial flashbulbs, but no thunder. I hear all the normal night insects, the occasional car down a different street and one solitary jet. My night vision is gone, lightning is not moonlight; it’s a good thing my way home is through city streets, broad and deserted.

Today I was called a dumbass, a word not unprecedented, but it being said with offhand scorn and a look of distaste is, mostly. That’s the part the bothered me, that and who said it. I’d dearly love to get it unpacked, to understand the why and the what and the how, but I know any response will be as distant as tonight’s thunder.
