Green Tee Readings

Part of why I’ve long loved reading random things on the internet are the near continuous (if you bother to look) discussions of either casting movies or cover songs. Normally, I don’t have much to add to either discussion, but if I can take a moment of your time, listen to I Gots the Magic by Lucky Soul, and then tell me I’m crazy for wanting really, really badly to hear two covers.

One cover to ratchet up the sadness from Stephin Merritt and the other cover sung by Greg Dulli (maybe The Gutter Twins instead of just him) to really give the “I could tell you something/and your mama wouldn’t like it” line something that a mother really wouldn’t like. I think my world would end if a mashup of those proposed covers would happen.
