Who Killed Amanda Palmer

I just finished listening to Amanda Palmer’s first solo release Who Killed Amanda Palmer, and I enjoyed my first listen of it more than any of the three Dresden Dolls releases. There’s a warmth and a fullness underlying this that wasn’t present in the others and the credit for that probably is entirely due to Ben Folds. If I had to guess, I’ll eventually like this a bit less than the Dolls’ debut album, but more than either of the Virginia releases.

Definitely recommended.
