7D
The specs lifted off a poster for the Canon 7D are interesting and personally disappointing. Unless Canon’s R&D really upped their game with the sensor, 18MP is a lot for a 1.6x crop sensor size. With that and the ISO topping out at 6400 (ed- whoops, it looks like Canon doesn’t include the H1 and H2 ISO in normal specs, which gives this the same reach in that direction as the 5DmkII), I really want to see some low light images before I’d buy it.
The pro AF system is nice, and the reports of built in wireless flash are a bit jaw-dropping. Permanently being able to have my speedlights off body? Yes, yes please. A 100% viewfinder is also a very very nice thing, and the currently rumored US price of $1700 makes it tempting.
Tempting in direct proportion of noise levels and high ISO performance. If I can’t pull any more usable light out of thin air at concerts, it’s really not going to be worth it for me. Saving up for a 5DmkII would then continue to be the goal.
