Parking
This bugs me, sure, but what used to really burn worse than contact with post habanero handling hands was city people parking parallel with huge amounts of space around their cars. There is very little reason to have feet worth of space on both sides of a car. Looking out the living room window when I lived on Spaulding, I could usually count 2 cars worth of spaces on each side of the street that were wasted by crappy parking jobs.
